Lost Alaskan RV Park

About The Lost Alaskan

Our Story

The park was built in 1995 by the original owner, a retired bush pilot and trapper from Fairbanks, Alaska. While on a journey after retirement, he took a break in Alpine, TX, and, together with his wife, fell in love with the quaint town. They decided to settle down and build an RV park. The locals affectionately nicknamed him “The Lost Alaskan,” a name that became the park’s identity. Though he now resides in Florida, the current owners, who have managed the park since 2012, still keep in touch with him. They appreciated the uniqueness of the name and chose to retain it. The park, featuring 98 sites and various amenities, is a family-owned and operated business, with the owners committed to maintaining its cleanliness and beauty.
